Customizing Keyboard Shortcuts

If you are transitioning from Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer, you do not have to relearn everything. Oraphim allows you to change the entire keyboard mapping to match other software.

  1. Go to Oraphim > Keyboard Customization (macOS) or Edit > Keyboard Customization (Windows).
  2. A large graphical interface of a keyboard will appear.
  3. In the top right corner, click the dropdown menu labeled Oraphim Default.
  4. Select your preferred preset (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer).
  5. Click Save.

Creating a Custom Hotkey

If you use a specific obscure tool frequently (like "Create Multicam Clip"), you can assign a custom hotkey to it.

  1. Open the Keyboard Customization window.
  2. Use the search bar to find the specific command.
  3. Click the empty box next to the command name.
  4. Press the key combination on your keyboard you want to assign (e.g., Ctrl + Alt + M).
  5. Click Save. (You will be prompted to save this as a new Custom Preset, as you cannot overwrite the factory defaults).
