YouTube and Web Integration

Oraphim streamlines the delivery process for content creators by offering direct API integration with major platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and Twitter (X).

Instead of rendering a file to your desktop, opening a web browser, logging into YouTube, and waiting for an upload, Oraphim can handle the entire process automatically in the background.

Setting Up Accounts

Before you can use direct integration, you must link your accounts.

1. Go to Oraphim > Preferences (macOS) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
2. Navigate to the System tab, then select Internet Accounts.
3. Under YouTube, click Sign In.
4. A web browser will open, prompting you to grant Oraphim permission to upload videos to your channel.
5. Once authorized, return to Oraphim and click Save.

Uploading Directly from the Export Workspace

1. In the Export Workspace, look at the top of the Render Settings panel.
2. Select the YouTube preset.
3. Check the box labeled Upload directly to YouTube.
4. A new metadata section will appear in the panel.
   • Title: The title of the YouTube video. (Defaults to your timeline name).
   • Description: The video description box. You can paste your links and social tags here.
   • Visibility: Set to Private, Unlisted, or Public. (We highly recommend setting this to Private so you can review the video on YouTube and add thumbnails before making it live).
   • Category: Select the YouTube algorithm category (e.g., Entertainment, Education, Gaming).
5. Click Add to Render Queue and Render All.

Oraphim will render the video to a temporary folder on your hard drive, establish an API connection with YouTube's servers, and upload the file seamlessly. When the progress bar finishes, the video will already be processing on your channel.

Using Markers as YouTube Chapters

If you used Timeline Markers in the Edit Workspace to divide your video into sections (e.g., "Intro", "Review", "Conclusion"):

1. Under the YouTube upload settings, check the box for Chapters from Markers.
2. Oraphim will automatically read your marker names and timecodes, format them perfectly, and inject them into the YouTube description box during the upload.
3. YouTube will instantly parse this data and create clickable, segmented chapters on the video playback bar.
